AGO # CG-008 Welding Cable Cover is inexpensive protection for costly feed and power cables. The 19 oz.
neoprene coated nylon fabric is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing and puncture. This flame resistant ambient
temperature material allows most welding sparks to fall or bounce off preventing burn-through. The continual
Hook & Loop fabric fastener provides a complete sealing of the cover that tends to eliminate snagging of the
cable when passing over protruding objects and allows a dust and a dirt-free inside environment for the cables.
There is no zipper to be welded closed by weld slag or dirt, and no snaps to allow snagging on protruding objects
over which the cable is pulled. When cable repairs are necessary the Hook & Loop closure allows a Quick-Sure
opening and may be used again either in its full or partial lengths. CG-008 Cable Cover comes conveniently
packed in a Pull-Thru dispensing box that contains 100 Lineal Feet of cover, either MIG or TIG. A measuring
scale is printed on the box that allows the required length of cover to be pulled out of the box and the box has
a chart on which to record the remaining length of cover within the box. The box provides good storage and
control of the Cable Cover.
